From the way you talk, I assume you want film and tv, rather than stage acting. The most prestigious acting schools in the world are in NY and LA, and you'll rub shoulders with some famous professors, as well as having classmates who will go on to do big things in the field.

The best of the best?

New York University
Julliard
Yale
University of California, Los Angeles
University of Southern California

And then some others of note and prestige:

Fordham University
Syracuse University
N. Carolina School of the Arts
Carnegie Mellon
Rutgers
SUNY Purchase

Sometimes, if you check the theater department's website, they'll list distinguished graduates and professors.

A lot of models attend acting school, but while with acting a BFA in theatre tends to be your foot in the door, with modelling you really don't need a degree in order to get into the field. Models tend to start too young to have a college degree, and the emphasis in much of modelling is very much on how you look and photograph, rather than any educatable skill set.
