At the college I'm going to next week, pets are prohibited in the dorms, but I'm determined to smuggle in my pet frog by any means necessary. It just doesnt seem right to leave the little bugger behind.

So my question is, how tight is the security when incoming students check into their dorms for the first time? I could put my guy's small aquarium in a cardboard box and sneak him in that way. But is all my stuff likely to get searched at the lobby for any contraband amphibians, or do you pretty much just take your stuff right to your dorm room with no hassle?

It's my first time going to college and I'm curious to know how it works on day 1.

Anybody end up hating college after having so many high hopes for it? That's what happened to me...I had all these ideas of what it would be like and, yeah, everything turned out sort of crappy. I wish I had transferred, but the money situation didn't let me. I'm so tired of classes and the social situation sucks. Anybody else in my position?

I am doing my MBA in Dublin, Ireland. As part of my MBA program, I have to do my dissertation in this semester and I have good 6 months time. I like to do it in International Business particularly in IT industry with specipic focus on Ireland. Today I am going to get a break from my 16 and 4 month old so I can go to the library. i am realy excited (easily amused) but I have not been keeping up with the times. I like fictional fantasy stories and hate deep love stories. I have read all of Micheal Ende books. For those who dont know He wrote the never ending story. I also Like Political fictions like 1984 but I dont want a book that will take a lifetime to read like the fountain head witch looks like the NYC phonebook. Can anyone give me some ideas. Thanks

I'm thinking of majoring in Biology or Chemistry to prepare me for medical school. But you can't do much with these degrees. I really want to go to med school, but its a risky move considering only 1 in 2 qualified applycants gets admitted.
