I am leaving for college in two days (ahhh)! Does anyone out there know what I'm going through? I need some advice about everything. What do I need to bring, what to expect, do the guys treat you differently, if so how? Any advice will help me out trumendously. By the way, I'm going to Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan.

Posting this again as only illiterate people reponded the first time.

Every school I've looked requires them, with reason being 'to attest to the student's ability to do gradute work' or something to that extent. I've been out of school for a couple of years and am pretty sure my professors wouldn't remember me (I had a lot of adjuncts).

I'm not comfartable asking my employer because then they know I might be leaving, and I still would need the job to pay for it. In addition even if I went and got one from them schools require 2-3 letters.

So are there any that don't require LOR?

Hopefully, people will read it this time.

the only univeristy ive been to is cleveland state university and the deal there is they offer some classes in the day...some in the night... its just horrible for a working adult.

and well long story short is i can pretty much go anywhere in the country. o what is a really good school for offering full programs at night? in real degrees like computer science or pre-med.

I went on the site and wasn't sure what the lower division classes required were. Can some one let me know? and if any of you go there, is it worth it to go? thanks

I started my senior year of college and quickly found out that every class I'm in requires hella outside work involving groups. Anyone else find out such wonderful news? I just had to tell my boss to cut my hours at work in half and then took out another loan to pay my expenses. YAY.

I've spoken to different medical students, residents, and physicians and I seem to be getting a lot of mixed answers. Some of them said that it helps, but that they covered all of what they learned in college in very short period of time in Med school. Others made it seem like it was very important to major in something related to science. So, what is the deal? Please be able to back up your answers.

I'm hoping to go to a Music College in the next few years and was wondering if anyone has been to one and can tell me a bit about it and whether they enjoyed it and can recommend it to me as an option as oppose to taking a degree at University. If anyone has been to both could they also tell me which they prefer?Thank You!!
