I disagree with a lot of these folks.
A redundant question is just a question that's been asked / covered before. It doesn't have to have been answered (though many of the ones asked here have been!).
Redundancy is just another name for duplicate or extra or using /asking more than is needed. So a redundant question is another duplicate or "extra" question.
Geez, now I'm getting redundant. Doh!

A question which has been answered but you obviously were not listening or did not get it. eg
Statement: Registration fees of $100are mandatory and must be paid by Tuesday.
Redundant ques: Do I have to pay a registration fee?
Got it?

Horrible rap and hip hop ghetto blasting from car windows in the 'hood' where I work. My office has a big window, right by the parking lot. There are doctor's offices all around and "baby daddy's" waiting for ppl and blasting this **** all freaking day long. and, yes, I am stereotyping, but I am also being truthful. AND, lest I forget the nasty crap I have to listen to when calling someone who's taste in ringtones is worse than a baby screaming. Again, ususally rap/hip hip garbage.

you ask "what is a redundant question?" and then ask again "what is a repetitive question?" its the same thing, is unnecessary in writing, repetitive, a waste of time and annoying.... or you could look up the meaning of the word redundant on dictionary.com for more help :)

It's a question which has been asked before recently and answered thoroughly or only has an answer through opinion...like which came first the chicken or the egg...
