It depends on the major, your personal ability to do the work and the curriculum that is required to fulfill the degree. If you already have some credits for CLEP or through AP credits given by the University, then you have a head start. I'm not sure if you are referring to University in the US or abroad since they don't call University "uni" in the US, too twee.

The standard course load in US Universities is 15 hours per semester (this varies from school to school and some schools have different credit systems). This generally means 5 classes per semester. Not too demanding, especially if you are studying marketing, which isn't exactly an academic subject. You should find plenty of time for part time work, or some extra-curricular activities.

120 hours are usually required at most schools to graduate. This means 30 per year. 5 classes is a moderate work load and you won't have to go to summer semester if you do that. You should get a faculty advisor who will help you select classes.

FWIW, the first year of college can be a real shock, even if you were a top student in high school. I personally would recommend you take _no more_ than 16 hours in each of your first two semesters. And THAT would be only if you can balance tough classes with easier ones. I'd try and keep the first term to about 12-14 hours tops, if you're working an outside job, if in sports, or if you're doing a lot of social activities.
(Rough rule: anything with a lab is a tough class, in terms of being time-demanding. Anything in your major that is NOT an intro-level class is a tough class. Any class in a non-major area that you love and adore is _probably_ an easier class. Your mileage may vary.)
There will be a lot of distractions, and you don't want to overload yourself and then have to drop a lot of classes because your grades are tanking. Start easy, then pick up the pace. You can go a little heavier later on in school, or grab a few hours in a summer session or intersemester term. Good luck!

Full time is considered 12 credits in most Unis. Can be 10 or as many as 13, 15, 16...
For 4 years, definitely do at least 12 per semester which is usually 4 classes, and 1-3 in the summer as one class/lab/elective. (this prevents you from trying to cram in 5 classes in a semester)
5 will be really the most you can do and expect good grades- beyond that you could jeopardize your GPA albeit a faster way to finish especially if you added the 1-3 credits int he summer as well....

At most schools, you take 5 classes a semester. Each class counts for 3 credit hours (usually) so you will be in class 15 hours a week, which is full-time.

usually everybody takes about 5 but it depends on how many units a class is each. If you take about 5 classes I think you'll be on track with graduating in 4 years. Good Luck!

I think that a normal full time semester program is 16 units. That's about 5 courses. But it depends on how many units each course is.

I take at least two to be considered full-time. If I am up to it during the summer I will press for three. I take my classes online & it helps out A LOT!!!!!!!
