do you use mechanical pencils or regular pencils?

and what kind of lead/pencil do you use? 0.5?

most professors allow you to use whatever you want most of the time homework itself should be done in pen. regular pencils tend to break less and cost less but when doing artwork or sketching I prefer to use mechanical because they have a finer point, usually a .5 but .7 works also.

but for future reference if you are asking a question about higher education you should phrase it correctly, we attend a university not goes.

Most people use pens, but I would use regular pencils. I never did like the mechanical pencils.

Same here. I actually use a laptop to take notes, and pen on exams. Pencils break to easy when you are trying to keep up with the professor.

if i use a pencil i use the mechanical ones and i use .9 lead. its thick and doesnt break and it writes real smooth. but i like pens the most.

I use pens. I don't actually know of anyone who uses pencils, except on exams.

i use mechanical pencil for homework (0.5), but i use pen to take notes (so that it wouldnt get messy)
