I can't believe I'm considering my next degree, I feel like I've been in school forever. I am a fairly new nurse, my interest is maternal child health, ob/gyn surgeries, babies, possibly NICU, L&D. I picture myself helping women and children, would love to work in a clinic setting also, really enjoy teenagers, std clinics, planned parenthood, WIC, that sort of thing.

I had considered the CNM (Nurse Midwife) but lately was pondering just the Masters in Nursing (MSN) or even Masters in Public Health (MPH). Given what I've said about my interests, does anyone in the medical field have any recommendations for me? Not sure which way to go, or which degree goes the farthest.?

Tomorrow is the first day of classes of my sophmore year. Over the last two semesters I have taken notes both by hand and on my laptop. Some classes simply require notes to be taken by hand, math for example. But, I have found that note-taking worked very well on my laptop in other classes, business classes in particular. I used Microsoft OneNote, which made organisation of notes iton classes very easy.
What is your experience?

It is a small private college in the midwest in a small town and I'm living in the dorms.

What should I expect from other students and the teachers as far as how they behave and dress in class?

If I 'dress up' every other day in class as I usually do in black and such, would that be 'appropriate'. I think it looks nice.

I don't know how to expect things to be like in college.

Thank you for the answers. Could you 'please'offer me.. something to make me happy to take off the stress? :)

I'm really interested in Architecture and I'm going through that whole Junior year phase. What should I do? I think continuing my studies would be the best thing to do. But where? Do you know of any programs that help students with all of the tough decisions of college? What college do you recommend?

Please help if you can. If you can't, I understand how you feel. -bites nails-
