I am in college and I am completeing a major in psychology with a minor in sociology and I wanted to know if I could get a second minor in herbology. is that possible. I understand the two have nothing in common but I am wanting to learn about herbs and health also. thanks

It shouldn't be a problem. Although because it is in a different field than your major is in, you might have to take a few more classes. I know plenty of people who graduated with multiple minors. Ask your counselor or whoever you go to to schedule your classes and they should be able to help you add the classes you need for another minor

We were always concerned with a "dual" major. Not sure why a minor would be that important. But I can't see why you couldn't get a second minor in herbology, all it is is taking a bunch more of courses in that field.

When I got my degree all it said was that I got a BS in Business Admin...it never listed my major or minor on the degree itself. The only importance is in writing it on your resume when you apply for a job. So I would think herbology would only be important to you and a prospective boss and maybe only in an interview.

Any combination is possible. I have a minor in chemistry and philosophy.
