Well, I had my first college class when I was a senior in high school. It was distance learning - it's a class you take from the community college over closed circuit television from your high school campus. It was nerve-racking, to say the least. I didn't know how anything would work. There were only about 10 people in the classroom at my high school, but there were about 30 at the college campus and and a few at the other high. It was embarrassing, too, because we had to figure out how to work the microphones and everything.
My first class on campus was last year. I was actually great! Don't panic. It's fine! College is SO much better than high school.
Some of the best advice I can give is to get good professors. Talk to people. See what their experiences have been with each teacher. Find out their grading systems. Mine have been great. My English 1301 teacher's name was Jupiter Jones. She legally changed it. She was an ex-hippie and used to talk about her highly conservative family and how she never fit in. Funny stuff! My art teacher was funny, too. You'll definitely meet some crazy characters! Just be open to the new experience! Have fun!

Very nervous, like a dove ready to fly. Remember to stay focused and remind yourself you are in college becuz you are smart, you would be a genius if you graduate (lol.). And lord, don't go to get your master's or professional schooling, you will then need a Nobel Peace Prize of Kicking Butt! but College, is full of bad and good experiences. But believe me the good outweigh the bad. This will be, I know for a fact, the best years of your life, ever....Relax, study(please get a good planner and schedule study time and daily time), get to know your professors, get into a study group, get into the social life( but don't overdose on this), and really experience this for what it is....Best wishes, and most of all GRADUATE

I made no lasting friendships that day. Friends change a million times in college, because a college week in a dorm is like a month in real time.

My Algebra instructor is a comedian. Says his hero is Flava Flav. He's probably reading this right now.
