Why do you be honest is it money or is it you truly care about peoples health and want to see them get whole again? Truthfully are you going to be one of those doctors that come in hear what you say do a quick exam then make a diagnosis or are you going to be one who takes time to listen, have a great bedside manner and ask them questions concerning eating regimen, home lifestyle, cleaning solutions, work environment , them make an effective decision for their lives? Because this is what general Americans need, Not a quick fix on pain pills and other meds that are addicting and have side effects that leave them coming back in with another symptom that gets another medication. Whatever you do, be a real good doctor! Thank You.

Well one thing you need to do is think back on why you wanted to be a doctor in the first place. Maybe it was because someone you knew was really sick and you wanted to try to make them better when you were younger. Bringing personal experiences into any essay or speech, or anything like this is a great way to express why you want to do it. And if that's not the case, ask yourself why you wanted to go to med school, and put that down on a peice of paper. You'll be surprised, because by the time your done you'll already have your paragraph written.

If you need to ask other people for ideas then - really - maybe you should choose a different direction.
A would-be doctor should have plenty of ideas about why he/she wants to pursue that profession. I don't mean to come across as self-righteous or lecturing, but its kind of awful that you don't have a zillion "ideas" of your own.
The best doctors are probably those for whom medicine was a passion - and passion usually produces plenty of ideas.

Perhaps you want to; help others. You want to end suffering. You want to contribute to society. You want to relieve some of the pain in the world. You want to give people choices in their lives. You want to educate. You want to have fun and give to others in a way that really helps--that's the ticket!
