I feel like someone with a degree in English has almost endless options in terms of furthering their education, because the a degree in English doesn't confine the graduate to a single career or education path. Instead, the degree provides the student with strong writing and other communication skills which can be applied in a wide number of fields.
With that said, it can also be pretty overwhelming to figure out what to do with an English degree.
I also just graduated with a BA in English in May and I'm struggling with my decision about what to do next. I'm thinking about eventually getting a Masters in Business Administration or going back to school to become a nurse. I've also considered studying for the LSAT's and applying to law school.
With interests in fashion, pop culture, art, and music, you might enjoy studying journalism and eventually writing for a newspaper or magazine, or you might want to study public relations with career goals of working with/representing pop culture icons.
Best luck in your future endeavors!

What do you want to get your M.S. in.....Really -- you should be telling us!!!!
I do have a few suggestions your question and concerns are quite sensible and the fact that you are asking for serious answers only speaks for itself -- saying that you are taking yourself maturely and seriously. With that in mind -- I'd like to try to help. Here are a few suggestions:
If you have a *competent* counselor at your school, speak with these people.
You list some very neat interests -- and they are all connected. Sorting them out and then finding and area of education that supports them is what my suggestions are really all about.
I also strongly suggesting talking to people/friends/colleagues of yours who are associated with or working in these areas; or areas that you like.
Next, and very importantly, I suggest taking a few interest/career inventory tests -- such as the Strong-Cambell, Briggs/Myers, or similar. And -- tests of this sort are all over the internet; and there are Yahoo groups with a wealth of help.
Lastly -- if you only do one thing -- Please buy one book: "What Color is Your Parachute 2006 by Richard Nelson Bolles (Ten Speed Press) or the newly published 2007 edition.
DIck Bolles has been working with and revising his masterpiece for 35-years. The 2006 Revision was a major and welcome change -- dealing with our collapsing "outsourced" economy and the many excellent internet resouces for personality and personality/career-type testing. This (2006 edition)is loaded with resouces. In my opinion nobody thinking about their life, education, becoming and doing what makes us happy should be without Mr. Bolles work.
Also, visit his wonderful resoure-filled website at www.jobhuntersbible.com. Please also don't forget -- it's not just about "jobs" -- it's about what and who you are as a person; and what educational/career pathing will nourish you for the rest of your life.
I hope this helps. I've taken you question seriously and with sensitivity....I've been there (where you are today) myself!
Best wishes!!!

I would get my masters in education to teach at a college and I would obviously teach English since you apparently like it. I would talk to a counselor about how to do this. After you do this you can teach at college and get a discount on their classes from what I've heard. You could teach at the schedules you prefer and take classes also at night or whenever. With this advantage you could possibly try out different classes to see which appeals to you most then start your degree in that field hopefully with the discount. I hope this helps :)

Education, Communication, or Sociology.
Pop culture and sociology go hand in hand and doing research in this area would be very interesting
