As you know, applying for Graduate School, they recommend you get atleast one year direct patient contact. How can I do this? Volunteer won't allow me, I don't want to do Phlebotomy, EKG seems like the only thing I can do (The Course is very short) Echo Cardiogram course is too long (about two years) and Medical Assistant is also too long (about an year). what are YOU doing to get this in your record getting into School of Medicine? If you have any more question, please e-mail...

I haven't started going to college yet. But, when I do I have no idea what to major in! I know obviously to get he gen eds out of the way......but if you're really not sure, what major always looks good? I don't know what I want to be or do when I get out of the military, but a degree in anything looks great. Any ideas?

Im planning on attending university lectures and then do studying in the evenings as the hours for my new job must be between 9-5 ( and not weekends) But aswell as this I have to run a home, and help my boyfriend with his business, and tips on organising my time would be much appreciated!

is it possible to please your parents and please yourself at the same time when picking a major? I want to avoid the "you'll just end up working at walmart" speeches, and major in what I know i'll be good at and happy in, instead of what I know I'm not good in and will just be there to make money. I've tried talking it out, but i'm afraid I might have to go behind their backs and major in what I want and deal with the lack of support.

I'm thinking of switching my major to Psychology, but I have had problems with depression in the past. I want to become a psychologist so I can help other people, but i'm not sure if my past experiences will be more harm or help. Do you think it will help me better relate to my clients or will it get in the way of my studies?
