When should you enter a masters program?

Should you enter right after completing your undergrad, or wait to get some work experience?

It depends on your field of study.

If you desire to pursue an MBA, it is almost imperative (with some few exceptions) to go into the workforce for a few years after finishing college.

If you are considering law school, or med school, or will be studying in the sciences or humanities, it is common to begin a graduate program immediately after completing undergraduate studies.

You can go either way. It just depends on your situation. If you find a program at a school that works well for what you want to do then go for it. If you have a lot of loans to pay off then maybe you should consider working for awhile in your field. Also, if your grades and GRE scores weren't that great then working would definitely help. It also depends on if the degree you got as an undergraduate. Some majors don't need to go on to graduate school to have a lot of career opportunities.

You're already in school, why not just go for the extra push & do your Master's right after your undergrad. I know that with my Master's in Ed, I can work on the master's while working. Some fields allow that too.

It depends on your major. I would go right into your masters because if you wait to go into a program you might end up getting set back somehow.
