I was playing trivial pursuit, and this question came up. "What does FM stand for?" The problem was the answer. The person answering the question said "Frequency Modulator." The answer on the card was "Frequency Modulation." This may be a stupid question, but would you give the answerer credit for this answer? I am just curious what other people would have done in this situation.

school is absolutely useless after 5th grade. You get in trouble for "misbehaving" or even for getting a couple of C's. Plus every class except foreign languages and electives are useless and should have their text books burned on national television on "useless school day" just hook me up with some of your opinions will you, stating what grade you are in, i do not want to hear from parents or adults thank you very much

My son has autism and is cognitavely disabled. Developmentally he is closer to a five year old than a young adult. I always just assumed that guardianship would be automatic...something I didn't worry about. However, I have recently been told this is not the case and that there is quit a process for me to be his guardian after he turns 18. Can anyone explain this process, or point me to a website that can? What is the first step? Who do I contact? Where do I apply? I live in Massachusetts and my son attends a residential school for severly disabled boys. Thank you.

Yahoo questions is a great forum for everyone to share their thoughts and opinions. And yes I agree that this is a free country and we all have our right to speak, my husband has been to IRAQ and back to fight for everyone's freedoms - so don't go there. I just don't understand why some people feel as though they should answer a valid question with sarcasm or just plain meanness. If you can't be helpful - answer another question where your input can do someone some good. Could someone please explain to me why people think it is a GOOD thing to bash folks who just want a little help educating their children?

I am not home-schooled, but I recently met my friend's neighbor, a homeschooled kid my age. He looked lonely, and seemed as if he hadn't a friend in the world. Of course I was friendly to him, but I shook his hand I was wondering if homeschooling hurts kids more than helps them......
