school is absolutely useless after 5th grade. You get in trouble for "misbehaving" or even for getting a couple of C's. Plus every class except foreign languages and electives are useless and should have their text books burned on national television on "useless school day" just hook me up with some of your opinions will you, stating what grade you are in, i do not want to hear from parents or adults thank you very much

Well, you learn how to get along with the rest of society. And Home Ec was good -- I still use a lot of that stuff that I learned there every day.

It's true, I don't really use the rest of that stuff -- but I needed it to get into college, where I *really* started learning.

Oh, and I'll always be grateful to my high school English teacher for turning me on to James Thurber, the funniest writer ever.

You could try testing out, I guess, but I had a friend who tested out and started college at 15 -- she had a terrible time socially. Older girls took advantage of her innocence, and played stupid tricks on her. She's sooooo smart, but even now, she feels like she's not academic because of those experiences.

Hey, it sounds like you just want to rage a little bit. Go ahead -- some days like this. At least kids get summer vacation . . . .

hahaha good question. I think the only thing you learn is reading and basic math! I mean come on who uses log rhythms or mole to gram ratio's in their daily life? Not too many people! I'm in Hs now and most of the stuff I learned last year that isn't intersting I have forgotten already after only a year so I can imagin what 10+ years is like!
