I want to go to college and I dont want to stay in dorms. Is there a way I can get a school loan that would pay for an apartment and bills and also school, since I would not be able to work if im going full time? I also have little credit and what I do have is bad. My parents would probably co sign though

i need a curriculum that has books and supplies for preschool-12 grade. and if my kids follow through the whole thing they will get every credit they need for high school. it's easy to teach, kids enjoy it, and it doesn't cost a million dollars. and also could any homeschool moms/dads tell me what their daily schedule is. i have 13 kids (12 of them i will be teaching) and we live on a farm, so they also have their chores. they are going into grades: preschool, kindergarten, 2 second graders, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, 2 seventh graders, 9th grade, and 12 th grade. thanks for any info.

Ive never been home schooled and neither will my sons, but I just wanted to know what is the big deal for a child to go to public/private school?

I've noticed that numerous people on this forum have stated children who are homeschooled have a social disadvantage. Then SOME parents were on the defensive by saying "There child has friends that they interact with on a daily basis." What?? 5-10 children from the neighborhood? Please. Whats wrong with having different friends from different neighborhoods?

As a child, there is NO experience like a walk/bus to school with your friends, LEARNING IN A CLASSROOM SETTING(even if it includes a little classroom banter, thats what kids do), playing @ recess with your friends, walking home from school, doing homework/class projects with your parents. For those who had a traditional public/private school education who have decided to NOT allow your child to have the joyous experiences you had as a child, WHY? Did you NOT enjoy "being a kid

OKAY IM A SOON TO GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR. I WANT TO ATTEND ASU (ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY), I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA. ASU HAS BEEN MY DREAM SCHOOL SINCE MIDDLE SCHOOL. BUT EVER SINCE I FOUND OUT I AM PUT UNDER NONRESIDENT TUITION. MY TUITION WILL COST A BIT MORE THAN ABOUT 24,000 DOLLARS! yikes!

ALTHOUGH MY EFC IS ABOUT 6,000, MY PARENTS ARE STILL NOT GOING TO CONTRIBUTE ANYTHING.

PUT IT THIS WAY, I HAVE TO DO IT ON MY OWN. BUT I CAN'T GET MANY SCHOLARSHIPS BECAUSE OF MY PARENTS INCOME!

ANY HELP?

AND ASU ISN'T BEING MUCH OF A SUPPORT EITHER.

AND I'M NOT GOING TO COMMUNITY COLLEGE, NOT STAYING IN CALIFORNIA FOR COLLEGE, I ALREADY DECLINED ALL THE OTHER 7-8 SCHOOLS I GOT INTO. INCLUDING BERKELEY!!!!

I MEAN I HAVE A 4.50 GPA. BUT THE WHOLE PARENTS INCOME!
DRIVES ME NUTS.
