2) 64 (multiply 64 by .75 to get 48)
3) 150 (multiply 150 by .4 to get 60)

These questions are all of the same form:
A% of X = B

All you have to do is divide by the percentage.

Convert your percentages to decimal before solving. That is, convert 25% to 0.25, 40% to 0.40, etc.

So for the first problem you have
0.25*X = 8
X = 8/0.25
X = 32

The rest are all the same, simply with different numbers

Think of it this way....whenever there is 'of' you multiply and whenever there is 'what' its a variable, and 'is' will be equal to, put it altogether...so the first one will be 0.25 x 'y'(variable)= 8 or.. 0.25y = 8..... and the answer will be 32

The first one becomes 0.25 * x = 8
The second one becomes 0.75 * x = 48
The third one becomes 0.40 * x = 60

and I bet you can figure out the fourth one yourself... just solve for the x'es.
