luck is what supposedly happens to you and isn't tied to your actions, it's just luck. Karma is what supposedly happens to you as a direct result of your actions, so if you are mean to other people, your karma will be people will be mean to you. Kind of like what goes around comes around.

Karma is for the intelligent, Luck is for the ignorant.
In all actuality, the probability of either existing is probably nonexistent. In my own opinion, I believe in karma, and not so much in luck. For if luck does exist, then I sure have had alot of bad luck. But if Karma exists, then I can understand how my actions, or lack thereof, have manifested into certain karmic repercussions. So blaming something on "luck" just pisses me off, because it gives the impression that we can't do a damn thing about it, we are left helpless. If it's "karma," then at least we have the belief that we may be able to have some sort of say in the repercussions of future happenstance. Now, again, if neither exists, well, we are just killing time with all this, but what have we better to do?

Karma is like "what goes around comes around" for example, if you punch somebody in the face, it would be like, totally bad karma and something bad might happen to you later in the "cycle of life" for example, you might come back as a toad.
Luck is just random chance. For example, if you won the lottery, hey, what great luck! If you get hit by lighting, really bad luck. But luck has no relation to whether you did something bad or good in the past, it just happens.

The only real difference between karma and luck is that karma is a five letter word beginning with "k" and luck is a four letter word beginning with "l" and neither repeats a letter used in the other.
Both really describe events over which you have no control, either good or bad, that happen in your life.

Karma is the theory that your actions are mirrored and you get back what you put in, good or bad.
There is no such thing as luck. It's a quality ascribed to people to whom something good or bad happens randomly.

Luck is just when you have good fortune, but karma is what happens to you based on your actions.

Karma has an implication that one gets what one deserves. Luck is just "blind" chance.
