2nd sem(spring 08): world reginal geography, biology+lab, sociology, roots of american music, american history
and yes these all apply to my degree, im not just taking classes that are easy

I have one student who doesn't celebrate ANY holidays for religious reasons. The rest of my students really enjoy worksheets with holiday (non-religious) games or graphics and I find them an effective teaching tool to keep these students interests. For the one student who doesn't celebrate, I have made similar worksheets with "nature" themes or the like. Of course that creates extra work for me. If I can't, then I just give him undecorated worksheets or games that work on the same skills. He is still unhappy that the other students get holiday worksheets. How would you handle this situation. I want to be fair to everyone.

I have received quotes from printing companies, and have agreed on a budget.
I have completed the rough draft of the training document with Pat assistance, and I will forward a copy to the sale staff. With completion of the training document, I can now concentrate my efforts toward other documents that are necessary (booklets, posters, information documents…) All revisions will be done in week 3, so that it can be ready for week 5-6. Pat will be a vital recourse in this. Documents need to be finalized so that they could be sent out for printing. This should be done by the end of the week. Pat will devote all 12 hours to this task, since Pat will be on vacation in weeks 6 & 7 – thus all major documents must be set. I will evaluate the documents and have them ready to be printed in week 5 .Terry has been working on the display, and I will ask Terry to put together a “mock” display – exactly how it would look during the sales show. This way, I can evaluate what the display looks like, if it is missing anything, if things can be improved. I will also ask my boss’s opinion on this matter since the display is critical to our success. I will also begin to asses transportation companies to see how much it would cost to ship the products.

Well Im 17 years old, I dropped out of HS last may to support my brother and sister because my mother was unable to support them on her own... Someone told me I had to wait a year before I could go get my GED, but I want to go get it now because I was a pretty good basketball player when I was in HS chasing a scholarship... than I was forced to drop out of school because if I didnt my mother would lose her kids, So I want to hit the JUCO (Junior College) Route and than go to a major University after that... If anyone can give me and advice on how to get things rolling I would be very thankful...

- Hi, I need some advice please. I would like to live and work in the US and teaching is the career i am currently training towards. I am on a PGCE 11-18 yr old ICT course in the UK, at a university and have worked for a year previously in a school as a learning assistant/librarian/IT manager. I have a degree in Business Studies, but am on an Information/communication/technology post graduatre teaching course, to augment my skills. - I become fully qualified as a teacher in a year or so, in the UK, so what do i need to do to teach business studies or Information/communication studies in the US? - I know that because of the federal system each state is different, so it is a bit confusing to me. - Are there any teachers out there or professionals who know about such things, or have made a similar move? - Is there a state or two in particular, where things might be simpler for me? my daughter will be in grade one soon here in the Philippines and I'm planning to send her to a school which is accredited internationally so that if our application in canada will be approved,at least,she will no longer be repeating more subjects or even attend a lower grade level just to cope up in the standards of schools in Canada.I also want her to be in the best school as this is the only thing we,her parents,can only leave her with since we don't have material things to give her when our time to leave this earth comes.Pls. help me by suggesting which school do you think will be the best for our daughter.Thankyou so much in advance..

Besides the KC Art Institute there seems to be no other school around here that offers it. I'm hoping to keep recieving the pell grant for as long as I can but it wouldn't cover all the costs of KCAI. I plan on applying for scholarships soon after I raise my GPA but I don't know how much scholarships would offer. JOCO has a few good photography courses but I don't think they offer a degree.
I really don't feel like moving to Chicago just to get a cheaper degree in what I want.
What's the deal with this city. It's the city of fountains (which is about art) and there are photographers everywhere around here but it's so expensive to get a degree in photography here and you wouldn't even be able to get a desent paying job in photography around here most likely.
