if your school doesn't have an ASL program, some possible fields could be Secondary Education or Linguistics.

contact the special education department of your college and ask about a degree in teaching the hearing impaired. I've never heard of ASL as a regular course in a high school. I've only seen it as a night school offering. maybe you should go to the guidance department and ask about this as a career.

do you mean ESL? you need to look at ESL as a major...if you mean American Sign Language, it is not considered a foreign language and could really only be taught as an elective in most states...either way you need to major in secondary education for HS...
