All six of her novels written after the age of 21 have recently or currently being made into movies. They have never been out of print - her family started publishing her juvenalia and uncompleted works because there was such a demand.

I think that she is, but it depends on your own opinion

Pride and Prejudice is probably my favourite of her books as the characters are so interesting and likeable

I have a read all of a Jane Austens books, I think she is one of the best female writers if not the best. It would be a lot easier to say that she is the best classic female writer that ever lived.

I'd have to give her the edge, although I like Charlotte Bronte very much, but Austen had a larger output.

Hell no! Ask anyone to name one of her books, and no one will be able to give you an answer! If anything, Mary Shelley was better because she wrote Frankenstein!

That can't be answered because we all have our subjective opinion. My personal favorite is Judy Blume.
