You do this in two steps:
1. Convert your measurement to inches -- multiply the feet times 12 and then add in the inches. So if the measurement is 5 feet 7 inches, that turns into 5 x 12 = 60 + 7 = 67 inches.
2. Multiply your measurement times 2.54 -- the number of centimeters per inch. So 67 inches turns into 152.4 cm.

So number of cm = ((12 x number of feet) + number of inches) x 2.54.
