No. What matters is a trend of improvement. Junior year is the pivotal year. If you do fantastic in your Junior year, it will overcome any lag in Fresh or Soph years.

Agree with others about showing continuous improvement through school. The extra-curricular activities you select in the later years might be helpful if they are linked to your future studies!

No. In fact many colleges don't even ask your for grades/courses from your freshman year. They understand there's an adjustment period that students go through and usually the courses one takes as a freshman aren't terribly impressive anyways.

Even if they ask for them, they will cut you some slack if you didn't do so well in your first year...if you have a bad junior year though, you're in trouble.

particular, surely it seems good in case you practice super progression by way of the years. basically paintings at it very hard and do your suitable. Granted, you will never be going to Harvard or something of the style (they choose directly-A childrens with suitable SAT scores and ridiculous extracurriculars) yet you will nonetheless have the potential to get right into a tremendously good college. Kick *ss on the SAT too.

They care about all your high school years...............but if you kept on improving on both GPA and GPR and get good SAT/ACT and PSAT scores, then i m sure they will accept you.
