(7 = 4 - 2y)

First I added 4 to both sides as I was under the impression that you're supposed to use the inverse of the operation being performed. According to this site though, the problem is solved by subtracting 4 from both sides. I thought you were always suppose to use the inverse operation. Can someone tell me what I'm missing here?

If you really liked a guy and knew what he looked like and were attracted to him and had spent time talking with him on e-mail, and he made you laugh and you had common interests and you knew he would treat you like a princess and bring you roses and hold the door for you and love and respect you, would you ever let him travel long distance and meet your parents and take you out? (feel free to let me know):)

My high school counselor is worthless. She won't tell us seniors anything, so we have to figure it out ourselves, I guess. Does anybody know of some VERY good scholarships that I can get information on? Any advice about applying for, searching for, and everything else would be great. Thank you. Also, you can email me if you have more stuff at junkboat07@yahoo.com. Put "Scholarships" or something like that in the subject line. Thank you again!!!

I'm a sophomore this year and I just got my PSAT scores back. Here are my scores:

English- 51 ("Scored higher than 83% of sophomores")
Math- 63 ("Scored higher than 95% of sophomores)
Writing- 54 ("Scored higher than 87% of sophomores)

My total score was a 168.

Now my question is are these scores great, good, okay, or what?
I know they're not bad, but how good exactly are they? I'm looking to go to Vanderbilt in Tennessee, and so I'd like to know if that's plausible given my scores.

And I am going to take it next year obviously, so how much should my scores jump? 5 points, 10 Points???

I have another academic question ...

How hard would it be to take statistics and college algebra in the same semester? Yes, I've had these two courses before but I need to retake them. Why? Because better grades will raise my GPA. Plus, I must take Calc I and I need college algebra before I enter (which will be in the Fall 2007)

Or should I just focus on College Algebra in the summer?

I've already taken both of them so I know the work load but I need advice on whether or not I should take two math course in one semester?

My graduation is coming up and I only have four classes left before I can transfer but they all have pre-reqs

Any advice would be appreciated, I don't know what to do .....

Zip codes seem to follow a logical order across the country, but area codes seem somewhat willy nilly. How did it come to be and what is the system.

i studied at 2 colleges in Asia and messed up because i was too disillusioned with the people and classes here. i've been trying to transfer to several universities in the States to get my life back on track, but it seems none are interested in giving me another chance. i'm already 22 and it's depressing to wake up and realize i'm stuck on pause.

The problem is, he can't now because he's lost his spirit level and won't be able to measure his intake. He doesn't want to end up being roly in the muck and spuds and end up sleeping in the wendy house. Should Bob just go for it and get plastered and risk digging a big hole for himself, or should he just down tools and cement his relationship with his wife and joiner?

I was wondering if it is possible to go to a physician assistant school with a undergrad nursing major? Of course, I would take all the prerequisite classes to get in. Would this increase or decrease my chances of getting in with this major? What do they look for?
