Could you ever do this?

If you really liked a guy and knew what he looked like and were attracted to him and had spent time talking with him on e-mail, and he made you laugh and you had common interests and you knew he would treat you like a princess and bring you roses and hold the door for you and love and respect you, would you ever let him travel long distance and meet your parents and take you out? (feel free to let me know):)

If you have only ever talked to him through e-mail and have not met him yourself in person, it might be a bit premature to talk of having him meet your parents. You may think you know him, and he may be all that you describe, but he might not be. Move slowly, and be very careful. There are a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing.

Dear Questioner,

I may seem like I am giving you a lecture, but there are a lot of people just wanting to play a joke on somebody so they could track you down and hurt you. Even if you have "pictures" of him, you can never know if it is actually him. He could be really mean, or worse...a girl in discuise. ANyways, you can never tell who somebody is by just reading an email.
Here is what I suggest...meet somebody in person and have a happy time with them. Don't wait to just meet somebody who may never exist...it will only just make you sad.

This question is in the wrong section. But in response to your question I would say not unless I was willing to do the same. Relationships should be all about give and take on a equivalent level.
