It used to be "It's a Wonderful Life" but the Capra family bought back the rights and now it's only played 2 times- NBC has the rights.
The Capras bought back the rights in the mid 1990s.
A "Christmas Story" is played continuously on Christmas Eve through Christmas Day 12 hours of it, but not 300 times.

Come on, people..."A Christmas Story" is aired for 24 hours straight on TBS on Christmas day, not to mention all the other TV stations that play it. LOL
