Am I wrong to state that in general as a chain, the Cheesecake Factory is the best restaurant out there? Who is with me and which ones have you eaten in? I have been to the Palisades Mall in New York, White Plains in New York, and the one in Providence.

I am from New York and I know that overall we have the best pizza. Where is there decent pizza elsewhere? I love Pepe's in New Haven, Ct. That is probably the best ever.

I come from Europe where service is already included in the price you pay, where servers get a full pay for their job and where a tip is given only for a service that was exceptionnaly good. So, I have very few insights on how much I should tip and in what circumstances. I know the rule for the drinks in the bars: 1 drink = 1 $ tip. I know the rule in the restaurants: tip = 2 x the tax. But I'm not sure if this applies to every kind of restaurant. For instance, do you tip in the diners? And if no, how can I indentify a restaurant in which tip is required before the waiter yells at me out of rage...

I have ate at many restaurants but the very best breakfast I found is at Mr. Brew-Stirs in Taylor MI, 25077 Ecorse Rd. They have the best biscuits and gravy and is inexpensive.

We will be staying near Central Park, and wanted to visit some restaurants that are fun. There are no children going (yippee), so theme is not necessarily important. Trendy and fun would be great. And thank you soooo much.

My wife and I love "hole in the wall" not chain store kind of restaurants and would love to get some good referals for such in Orange County, California. Anyone have a favorite?

I live in New Orleans and am looking for a nice restaurant to bring my girlfriend to. It's for her birthday so I want it to be perfect--beautiful and great-tasting. It can also be in Metairie or even the Northshore. I just need to find a place. We both love Italian, Cajun, Creole, and basically everything else LA has to offer. We love the French Quarter and recently went to Cafe Giovanni. It was FANTASTIC! However, I really want to surprise her with something new. Please help me! Thanks!

It should be in the general area of 'The Strip', preferably having a wide variety of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetarian protein choices.
