I haven't been in Monterey for a long time, but there was the best fish and seafood place on Fisherman's Wharf.

This is an area that I know a little about. There are many fine Restaurants in Monterey. I have also listed two that are located in Carmel. Each one of these have very fine food and would make any man happy on Valentines Day. So, here we go!
Anton & Michel Restaurant/CarmelVery fine seafood as well as other dishes. Award Winning Restaurant
Fresh Cream Restaurant/French
Epsilon/Greek
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market/Fantastic Schrimp Dishes. This is a great place.
Domonico's on the Wharf
Puerto Mexico
Duck Club/If you like Duck, this is where to go. The other dishes are just as good.
Le Cog D' Or/Carmel/Best German food ever

Michelle: well down town "Los Angeles" there is an good
restaurant locally there Called "Monterey Sea Food"

The Sardine Factory on Cannery Row. A very nice place...afterwards you can stroll along the bay. Just be sure to bundle up, it's cold this time of year. Have fun!

So Romatic, Great menu, Wonderful Wine list
