My husband and I love Cheesecake Factory. We have been to the one in Charlotte, NC. We have been there three times. Where my mom lives they did not have one until recently and everytime I went home I would have to go there to get her the Godiva Choc Cheesecake to take to her. The food is great, the service is awesome and the portions are huge. Word of advice only eat half of your dinner, then this will save room for your cheesecake. Who am I kidding? I had to take both my dinner and dessert home in a doggie bag, but it was just as good the second time around too. I just had to hide it from my kids.

You can purchase plain 7" Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes at Wal-Mart for $13.98. You can still purchase the 9" multi-flavored Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes at Sam's Club for $12.00. You can also purchase plain 9" Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes at Sam's Club for $10.00, however they are not available very often anymore. I feel it is because they have their own cheesecake and a couple of other brands (not near as good as Cheesecake Factory).

I'll admit that during the weekends, the line is long and it can be noisy at the Cheesecake Factory.
So, my husband and I save going there for during the week when it's easier and quieter.
The portions are very large which we appreciate since we find splitting our food is just enough to satisfy both of us. We tend to order the same things when we go there:
Endive, Pecan, and Blue Cheese Salad
Pasta DaVinci
Goblet of Fresh Strawberries (with whipped cream) along with cappuccino and tea
Our Cheesecake Factory location is in Alpharetta, GA -- haven't been to any others.

Cheesecake Factory in Corte Madera, Marin County, CA!
I don't usually like chain restaurants either, but the Cheesecake factory is an exception. Definitely not any pricier than any other restaurant in the area, and less than many. The menus have something that will please everyone.
Oh, I guess Max's opera house cafe might rival cheesecake factory.

I don't know. I avoid chains like the plague. Only go when someone insists on going. But I have heard that Cheesecake is the best. So hopefully that will be the one that I get forced to go to next.

I've eaten at CF twice. The food is ordinary, portions way too large and it is loud.
In San Francisco the wait for a table is unreal, why people would put up with that wait for ordinary food is beyond me.
I'm not fond of chain restaurants, in SF we have much better options in terms of food, service and ambiance so why bother?

Yes, for a chain restaurant I consider it really tasty.
I have been to the one on top of Macy's in San Francisco. We sat outside and the view was unbelievable (it defiantly added to the meal) And I have been to the one in Sacramento.

I've been to the one in Kansas City ... but why bother, when you can go to Sam's Club and get one of their cheesecakes from the freezer section???
In my opinion, it lost out as a place to out to once I could get the cheesecake without the price.
