Harvelle's on 4th is great, they have good live music (blues/rock) and strong drinks, also Father's Office on Montana has great beer, awesome food and a fun low key but lively atmosphere

A Cool place in Santa Monica is O'briens on Wilshire, Cool Music, Low Key Bar, It's an Irish Pub. Friendly Service! They even have a pool table.
