I'm getting an iPod video, and I'm wondering what video formats are compatible with it. .avi, .mpg, .wma, etc...? I know .mp4 is compatible, but what else? Thank-you ^^

P.S. Please only post if you have an answer. Posting "I don't know" is really annoying...

At first I saw that the 5th generation 60GB ipod was the newest upgrade, but now there is the 80GB, and it is even cheaper than the 60GB. Is there something the 60GB has that the 80 doesn't?

It recharged by plugging it into the computer. I turned my computer off and forgot to unplug it. Did I fry it by leaving it plugged in? Could it keep charging even if the computer is off?

I have heard that this can be done and have looked at different products on the net but the only thing i can find are ones that use a radio frequency that you then tune into your car radio (do these work?). Is this the only way or are there any other products out there that can be used?

I know they calculate bss 1gb = 1.048.576bytes but even like that a 60gb drive should have minimum 57,22gb (60/1,048576).

Hi guys,

I think I have a loose contact for the right side output for my earphone jack in my MP3 player. I have tried a pair of earphones and a pair of headphones and the problem persisted...so I assumed it was a problem with my actual MP3 player.
The problem is that music comes out of the left ear but not the right although occassionally if I twiddled it, music would come out of the right ear as well but the slightest movement again and it would go back to just the left ear.
So I guess it's a loose contact within the player itself.
Does anyone know how I could fix this?
Should I take a really small screwdriver and unscrew the tiny screws and open up the thing?
Or should I try my electronics department at school?

Thx for all help!!!

My2g Ipod nano isn't storing as much info as it should. It will only hold about 100 songs- says it will only use .8mb, not the full 2gb. I need to know how to get it to use its full (or close to full) memory for storing music. I don't use it for pix or anything, just music. Would reformatting it help any?
I like it other than that it won't let me use it to capacity... if anyone can tell me how to tweak it so that it WILL hold more than a hundred songs, I'd appreciate it... please include directions on how to reformat it.

I have a creative zen vision m. it a very good mp3 player. it has the same memory of ipod and they both do the same thing. the zen is able to hold more formats of pix, music, video, and wav sound. it has a built in fm radio and recorder. whatever songs you have recorded can be put on the computer. i havnt used an ipod b4 so i dont really know what formats it will hold other than quicktime and itunes. so what would you choose? and why?

I got a black 30GB iPod in mint condition. No scratches. I'm thinking of selling it if I can get a good price. I don't want to list it if I price it too low or so high no one answers my ad. I'm not going to use eBay, I'm using a local paper. How much do you think I could get for it?
