I am wanting to buy a audio cable to hook my ipod up to my Phillips stereo. On the back of my stereo there is just options for white & red plugs. So, I am thinking I will just need the "Y" cable... but what's the yellow one for? Will I just plug this up & it will play on my speakers? Will I have to set my stereo up for this somehow?

I'm looking for a new mp3 player and I was wondering which mp3 is better in your opinion. The iPod or the Creative Zen Micro Photo? Also which overall last longer and doesn't mess up?

I can't find any store with them, I live in Tampa Florida and most websites say they won't be out until November 22nd. If you are familiar with this device let me know what you think, everything I have heard is that it's great! And i don't have to deal with Itunes I can drop and drag. Not to mention the price is a nice $ 159.99. Please help me out with what you think and know. Thanks in advance!!

My son's never seems to work. He is questioning getting another or even a different brand. Right now he's using a CD player. Suggestions for an improvement? Christmas isn't that far away.

I'm thinking about getting a Zen, but I can't decide if I want an iPod or Zen. I've heard the iPods die quickly, but that I wouldn't be able to use iTunes with a Zen, and that's where all my music is. I have it saved in my music folder, but I'm not sure if I would be able to transfer it to the program that Zen is supposed to use. Any info would be appreciated!
