please can someone help me?! I plugged my father's ipod into my computer to charge it, and DID NOT click on anything. later i go back, unplug his, and plug in mine. not only does my ipod not show up on itunes, but when i unplug it all my songs and videos are gone! (i have a video, he has a nano) i still have my photos, but i have all HIS songs? is there anyway I can fix this? when i plug in my ipod to itunes it doesn't register or give me any options!

My daughter has bought an iPod Nano to replace her original iPod, can she use her original iTunes library and iTunes software to download to the new one. Apple do not ship iPods with S/W disks anymore, and you have to download the new S/W from thier web site.

Ipod was goofy, and didnt charge properly when I first got it outta the box. Will that make the battery not work properly or if I recharge it will I get the full 14-15 hour battery life?

Theres an advert on TV, thing is I dont know what advert its from but I like the song. The only lyrics I know is "like a cherry in a pie" its a female singer with a guitar background. my other mp3 broke it was 20gb hdd. it was reliable but my fault that it broke. the microsoft zune is coming out i was looking forward to it for a few seconds until i saw the battery life even the unreliable ipod had better battery life. there was another one called the samvision pmp portable. 90 quid with 2gb i think, looked like a psp had a good built in camera as well but didnt tell me what the battery life was. i want a mp3 that can fit in my pocket lol, good battery life, lots of memory, under £200. the zune is tempting with its price and that it has video as well. so many choices....

I've downloaded a live recording from a festival but its over an hour long with no gaps. Its on my ipod but its really annoying having to listen to it from the beginning. Is there any way I can insert "gaps" every 10 minutes or so that I can just skip to where I want to listen from?

I've got an i-pod nano. I want to set up an account on the itune store but everytime i try to sign up I keep getting 'not a valid email address' or something like that.

On the iPod summary page that shows whats on your pod (blue for audio, purple for video etc) what does the orange "other" bar relate to? I'd like to know cos it's taking up 6.74gb of my storage space!

I upgraded my iTunes and iPod to the most recent version. In doing so, I lost everything on both items. I have the music (and podcasts, videos) in folders on my computer but they are not seen by iTunes. Where do I have to move them to for iTunes to see it and put it in its library? Thank you.

my 4GB ipod mini is acting strange and has been acting strange for a while.

whenever i connect it to my computer my ipod screen shows the battery with the lighting strike but the battery is frozen (it isn't filling up and defilling like it should be)

then my itunes is unaware that any ipod is connected at all.. so i'm unable to get my songs in.

PLEASE HELP ME?
