(i have a video, he has a nano) i still have my photos, but i have all HIS songs? is there anyway I can fix this? when i plug in my ipod to itunes it doesn't register or give me any options!

oh man. i'm sorry: you are probably screwed in a major way. this is what happened: your computer automatically updated your father's computer. then, when you plugged your ipod in, it automatically updated your ipod to whatever was in the itunes: your dad's songs.

my question to you: whose songs do you have on your itunes? (that might be your saving grace...)

what you need to do pronto is change the update options to manual. i have a dell and somehow did it when i installed itunes in the first place, so i probably can't help you there, but go to a (hopefully nearby) apple store with your computer (or get them on the phone: most can be incredibly helpful) and get them to take you through it step by step.

in the meantime, don't plug your ipod into ANY computer just to be on the safe side.
