buy the ipod, itunes is on the cd that comes with it, rip songs you like from cd using windows media player or use lime wire (scan everything you download with anti-virus)
set itunes up, make sure all the songs you want to put on are in one file on pc.. (normally my music) in itunes, select file/add folder.. (my music) all** your songs will go on to connected ipod
** songs ripped from cd will be amended by itunes and go on after all the others, its very easy to use... g/luck

yes but with any ipod, you have to use apples software (itunes) to transfer your music onto your ipod. its pretty easy to use though. you download from limewire to a folder on your harddrive, then drag and drop into itunes.

yep, as long as you have itunes and you know where the music is being downloaded to. Usually 'C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Shared' (without the quotes)

You can - but make sure you're running an up to date virus programme on your PC.
