Itunes has already converted them to .mp4 files
everytime i plug it in it only updates my songs, not my vids

You will have to download a video converter that converts music videos to mp4 format, which is the correct format for video ipods. Go to www.videora.com and download a free video converter called Videora. Use this program to convert this program and open up your CONVERTED video in iTunes and update your ipod. If you don't change the location of the converted video in itunes, it will show up under movies. Good luck!! If you need anymore assistance just im me or email me. I'm tooraw88.

i actually have the same problem but i believe it is because itunes is not as accepting of these videos, even though they appear in the video viewer in the itunes window

you need to tell itunes to find the videos, click file , than add file to library ! pick your videos !!
