I'm thinking about getting a Zen, but I can't decide if I want an iPod or Zen. I've heard the iPods die quickly, but that I wouldn't be able to use iTunes with a Zen, and that's where all my music is. I have it saved in my music folder, but I'm not sure if I would be able to transfer it to the program that Zen is supposed to use. Any info would be appreciated!

If you have files in mp3 format you should be able to use them on the Zen. Any files you downloaded off iTunes store will be m4p format which is locked and won't play on the Zen.

There is a way around this, burn the songs to a CD and import to Zen. Some loss in quality, but none that I can hear.

Why would you think itunes would work with anything other than an ipod, hence the i part of itunes not creative tunes.

iPods die quickly....what does that mean?

And why would iTunes work with anything but an Apple product.
