I got a black 30GB iPod in mint condition. No scratches. I'm thinking of selling it if I can get a good price. I don't want to list it if I price it too low or so high no one answers my ad. I'm not going to use eBay, I'm using a local paper. How much do you think I could get for it?

Using the past week of local craigslist listings as a yardstick, most people seem to be asking around $230-$250 for a 30GB iPod, one asked as low as $200, (and one asked $320!)

Considering that Apple's online store now sells the 30GB model for $249, I'd say somewhere in the low $200 range at best. You might also want to consider that Apple sells refurbished ones for $179, though I imagine most people aren't aware of that.

The most probably depends on how long youve had it. Like if its 6 months old maybe 125 is the max. But Ill give you 75 for it.

Try using craigslist.com and make an arrangement with a buyer.
$150-$175 sounds right.
