Actually its my MP3 player. It says that we must have a 3.5V DC current source.
However, as I had not noticed it erlier n all, I used AC current. It worked absolutely fine.
Now I wanna knw if this is harming the player in any way.
PLz. help!!!

My old, basic CD player is worn out. I use it as part of a hi-fi system that also includes an amplifier/tuner and a minidisc player.
I can buy a DVD player for much less than the cost of a CD player. I realise that I would not be able to programme it to play CD tracks in a different order to what is on the CD, but I don't ever do that in any case.
All I do is put a CD in the player and listen to it from beginning to end.
A new DVD player would also play MP3 CDs, which would be useful. I can buy a DVD player at a lower cost than a CD player; the DVD player has sockets for the leads I would use to hook it up to my amplifier.
Using a DVD player as a standalone CD player seems such a good idea, but I wonder if any technically minded Yahoo Answers enthusiasts can think of any reasons I should not buy a DVD to use in this way.
THANKS in advance to anyone who can answer this question.

My friend has the above mentioned and all the times I've ever used it I really liked it. She got it as a gift. Is it worth the money to buy though? I want to get something that's small and can store a lot of music. I'm open to all suggestions and links would be great.

I'm considering buying a sirius satellite radio for my car, but I'm wondering if its worth the monthly fee. I need some help with this. I already know about howard stern and different sports broadcasted on sirius, but I want to know about the radio, service, and the overall satisfaction. thanks,

I have a really nice stereo now, but never use it. It is too big, so I hide it behind the couch and never use it. I just bought the Philips SLA5500/37 and was surprised when it arrived to discover that the speakers were not integrated and I needed seperate speakers. Which I was trying to avoid.

The main things I like about this is one it is small and two it holds all my music. So, I am looking for something that would be able to come close to this, though I know it will be hard.

If I could get a small set of speakers that would work with this receiver that would be OK as well, I just don't want something big and bulky. I want the music to sound good, but something like a Bose system is just more than I really need. I mostly listen to the radio now.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a CD player or set of speakers that would match my needs?

Thanks!

P.S Silver would be my preference! Not a must though

I bought the bose triport headphones. The quality is really good but the portability is not. The cord is too long and almost touches the ground when i walk while listening to my ipod. Also, they are too big to put in your pocket. What are some good in-ear headphones (between $100-$200) with cords that are similar in length to the apple headphones that come with the ipod?

I was thinking of getting a minidisc machine but I thought an MP3 recorder might be a bit more logical. Any ideas where I can find something halfway decent for a reasonable price?
