I bought the bose triport headphones. The quality is really good but the portability is not. The cord is too long and almost touches the ground when i walk while listening to my ipod. Also, they are too big to put in your pocket. What are some good in-ear headphones (between $100-$200) with cords that are similar in length to the apple headphones that come with the ipod?

Try the V-Moda Bass Freq earphones. There only 50 bucks and sound like 150 dollar headphones. In ear and many colors

I just recently bought the logitech bluetooth headphones from buy.com for like fifty bucks. These headphones sounded so much better that the apple headphones but they are a larger and heavier. the headphones are the behind the neck phones and it really only works with the pre video and nano ipods because it plugs into the earphone and remote holes. It will still work with the newer ipods but you can't advance the songs or increase the sound from the earphones. overall a good deal for some replacement headphones

Koss "The Plug" in-ear 'phones sound very good and are so cheap that you can't afford not to try them. The sound quality is not that far from my Sony MDR-V900 headphones which were over $200. If there's no bass, follow the directions in the instruction sheet and reverse the foam plugs to get a better seal.

But if you really want to spend that much money, check out the Shure 'phones.

oof, $200 earbuds?!?! I suggest the blue/silver Sony headphones, the little plastic ones that wrap around the back of your ear. They actually sound pretty good, get decent bass, and only cost like $10. I've bought a few pairs because if you aren't careful with how violent you get with them(like stepping on them and such, not volume) they break pretty easily. I can't even think of a $200 pair of earbuds.

usually headphones try this b/c you wrap them around the ipod and that they simply get snarled...attempt bending the perplexing section actual by using the plug till you may get some new ones...and dont wrap ur headphones anymore!
