Average song will be around 4MB

512 / 4 = ~128 songs should fit on that MP3 player.

This is a rough estimate.

it is a megabyte, a song, depending on how high quaity the encoding is, a song can take up up to 5 MB, depending on how long

so if you avg song is 4 mb, so a 512 can hold about 120 songs

it means the size of the mp3 player
1 song can be 1-3Mb or sometimes bigger or even smaller
but the bigger the size usually the better the quality

mega bites
It's how much storage your player has. 512MB is about 400/500 songs, depending on how big they are.
