how do i delete songs from my ipod nano?

i have all these songs im sick of now and when i shuffle they keep coming up, is there any way of jsut deleting them from the memory?

Plug Your nano back into Your P.C. or Mac.
Launch iTunes, then manually Delete song from your iPod Nano when it appears in the iTunes window!
