About a month ago my ipod fell in the water. It had been out drying ever since. I've bben charging it for the past 3 days and now when I turn it on it the apple shows up then there is a smily face with x eyes...i know i should take it in but I want some other advise before I do. Thanks!!! Please be serious with your answers

yes i think is it but try takin it to a radio shack they can probaly fix it 4 u

The X in the Eyes means your iPod is DEAD!
If the unit is not over a Year old you could consider taking it into an Apple Retail Outlet!
Apple are Really Cool with Warranty issues!Maybe you could Blag a Replacement!?
The other alternative is if you have Accidental Damage Insurance? maybe you could make a claim on that?

you probably need to take it in to be serviced or even replaced. If you are close to an apple store or authorized apple service center, go there. Here's some more info for you too...

That means you're going to have to send your iPod in. It's no good. That happened to me over a period of time, but for different reasons. But, your iPod is definitely dead.
