Press and hold the following combination of buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds to reset the iPod.
iPod 1G to 3G: "Menu" and "Play/Pause"
iPod 4G+ (includes Photo, Nano, Video, and Mini): "Menu" and "Select".

You are going to have to reset the ipod to the original factory content. I don't remember how to do this but that is what my friend had to do to hers for it to work again. If that doesn't work, you may have to take it back to where u purchased it and see if they can fix it.

plugit into your computere and see wat happens..........there shoudl be some kinda reset/restore buttoin on there....
