Currently, I have a two line phone plugged into a telephone jack that is wired as follows:
Top left: orange
Bottom left: white/green
Top right: white/orange
Bottom right: green
What changes would I have to make so that the first and 2nd lines are switched?
Thank you in advance.

We had an arguement 3 weeks ago and he moved out,we were talking via txt messages and getting on most of the time, last night l sent a txt to see how he was and he never got back to me as quick as usual,l've been trying so hard to talk to him but he wouldnt come up to the house in the 3 weeks because l have children(who are not his)l can see that he didn't want them to hear anything nasty but he wouldn't even come up when they were sleeping.Well because he never answered my text l sent another asking if he was out drinking,l got a reply saying he was watching a film,l left it for a couple of hours then tried again and got no reply so my final text to him said l give up goodnight,1 hour later he was nasty, saying do l expect him to just drop everything he is doing just for me(was l expecting to much for him to talk to me instead of watching a film?)today he has decided we are all over and is comming to collect his belongings,l feel ripped appart and need cheered up for my kids sake!

I need to make some anonymous calls (long distance) from my house. Does a calling card provide this anonymity? The call is "free" because it's a 1-800 numbe that you have to call through, but does it show up on the monthly bill even though it is a "free" call?

My question is, Do you think Families need a home phone anymore? Aren't cell phones enough? This would save me $75.00 a month.

Right now we experience too much down time with Phonom which is voice over IP with Cavalier. Whenever our phone is out we do not have internet either; usually happens when it's windy or raining...good thing we don't live in Seattle (:

I had a phone call telling me I had won such and such a prize. It then asked me to press 9, has anyone else heard of this scam. What is it and how does it work?

Perhaps someone can help me out. Last month I noticed that I had some 25 premium rate calls, all for under 5p. I contacted my supplier and asked them why as we had not made them, they say that they definately came from my number and that bt have a maximum of 5p on these calls, there are only two of us living here. After some thought I feel it must be a site I am connecting to on the internet, but I don't know which one. I kept a check on times I signed in to different sites, but they don't tally with the latest bill of which their were nine calls.
The number that dials up is 08444622020 and it has premium rate G9.

Has anyone come up with this and found an answer?. I can be thankful that it's not the high premium rate.

Because it was cheap there are no instuctions, l plugged it into the mains but when l listen for the dial tone l keep burning my ears. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks all ;)
