How in the bloody heck do I get them to stop calling???

They start calling at about 8am and do not stop until about 9pm, it is ridiculous. The only day I really get any peace is Sunday, they do not call here I guess they have off that day.

I have tried picking the phone up and hanging it up but they just call right back and if I do not pick up they leave messages on the answering machine and by the end of the day I have like 20 messages on the machine, it is just out of hand.

It really makes me so angry and being a telemarketer is not even a job, it is a thing for those who are to lazy to get a real job or have no education and none else will hire them. Honestly I can name several telemarkiting groups around me that have nothing but immigrants , uneducated people and people who have been in jail working for them. The one a few blocks from me has 2 convicted child molesters working their that I know of and a freaking drug dealer.

IT IS DRIVING ME INSANE

It's a Vtech gz2334 2.4GHz Cordless Phone with Caller ID and it's hooked in and everything and for the past couple of months it'll have these wierd episodes when I pick it up there is no dial tone it will last for like 5hours at a time. And then for the past few days when ever i've been picking up the phone it says no signal even though everything is plugged in. I've had this phone for a year and it's worked fine before. What's going on?

with 3 mobile phones for each family member, the landline is redundant. I only get telemarketing calls on it. Anyone with previous experience on this and suggestion on how to go about this will be most appreciated. I still need the online access. Tnx

We are remodeling an old house we bought and found an old florist basket in the attic. There was a business card on the back of the basket and the phone number was a 5 digit number e.g 2-1234.

We are a family of 3 and all have mobiles and we use them more than we use our home phone, in fact hardly at all. We have a business line and a home line in the house and running up line rental costs for nothing! All I am worried about is if people will be put off calling our mobiles i.e. family, schools etc. as they might think its too expensive. My husband has his own mobile just for business, I have mine for my business and personal and our daughter has hers for personal use. What do you think and have you taken this step?

Sometimes our family gets a phone call like, "You have to call this number ***-***-**** and ask for Ken Hughs. This is not a solicitator's call or a telemarketing call." Has anyone had this? What is it? How do I stop it?

Trying to pay my telephone bill on line?

It only works when I hear the dial tone and the operator saying "If you'd like to make a call...". If I place the phone on the base to "hang up" the DSL connection is lost.

I have an extra telephone jack in my den. I need to know if there is a way to disable the jack to keep unauthorized persons from using that jack. Talking out the phone is not an option. I really just need to see that a phone cannot be plugged into that outlet. I have gotten some great help from this feature on Yahoo. Thanks to all.
