Tell them nothing else but to remove your number from their calling list and not to call again. Repeat this and then ask if they heard you. If they keep going on, repeat it again then hang up. Contact the federal trade commission and inform them of the violation being sure you have the company name, address and the person who is calling you.

If you hear a double click before they come on the phone that will give you a good idea that they are a telemarketer. If not. I just hang up the phone when they start askinig me question's.

Tell them that you are going to report/file a lawsuit against them because they have called from that same number repeatedly and are harrassing you and your 80 year old grandmother that lives there.

Or say that the person they're calling for died in a really deep voice.

Contact consumer affairs and have them reported...if you are on the do not call list, by law they have a legal requirement to cease contact.

under the law, if you have a recording from them and you, telling them to stop....( record you calls from now on)....you can get 500 dollars the first time....thereafter....750.....and so on!!! tell them that it will cost there company the next time!!!

I got this law from the FTC/FCC website...and believe me it works!!!

my home-phone have a build-in memo-pad...I re-play it when they call....they hang-up right-a-way!!
