It's a Vtech gz2334 2.4GHz Cordless Phone with Caller ID and it's hooked in and everything and for the past couple of months it'll have these wierd episodes when I pick it up there is no dial tone it will last for like 5hours at a time. And then for the past few days when ever i've been picking up the phone it says no signal even though everything is plugged in. I've had this phone for a year and it's worked fine before. What's going on?

try a new battery!!! if that don't work call the vtech tool-free number and ask them what going on!!! the battery is kinda expensive, but you always can return it! many times its the battery, because there not fresh....or someone already had your phone before you, and brought it back....put in there old battery!

VTechs do that when they start to conk out from old age. Just get a new one. They aren't meant to last more than 5 years or so.

Maybe something wrong with the base/handset communication. Does it still have a warranty?
