I am looking at getting my Fiance a gift for christmas, and I was wondering if I should go with a Bose in a box or a Harman Kardon in a box. Im looking at just the speakers, does this matter?

I need a 5.1 Home Theatre Receiver, and I wanted to know what brand would be my best bet.
I'm gonna primarly use it for music, and a little movie time.
I have the subwoofer, 2 main speakers, and 2 surround sound speakers, and center.
I would rather just be told a brand, and i'll make the model choice...
So, like what would be the best...

I just bought a new Samsung hdtv with the hdtv reciever built into it. It is 720p I think. I am new to the hdtv, so how can i view all the channels in hd? We have a digital cable box with the three a.v. inputs; red, yellow, and white. But when I connected the tv to the box, the channel quality seems lower than before in widescreen. howcome it isn't crystal clear like in the stores? thanks for any advice and help as i am not a technophile type person lol

how can we assess the quality of a digital camera?
i'm confused with the megapixel and optical zoom specifications.........
for example......camera1 has 8MP and 12x optical zoom and camera2 has 12MP and 6x optical zoom........now how do we decide on the quality and which one to buy?

The bigger shows seem to have the full screen, like the Today show, or Jay Leno. Other shows like our local news have a more square picture, with black screen on each side. Shows from the network when they have the smaller picture will have a filler on each side, with a logo or something, so it is not just black. I have the tv's aspect ratio set as wide as it goes, so it seems like the picture size comes from the transmitting station , or the network. Why do they do this? if a person buys a hi-def set, we would like a full sized picture!

Like I said I have a Samsung 50" DLP HDTV and a Samsung Surround sound system with a 5 disc dvd receiver. How do I get the sound to come out of my surround sound from my tv? Do I just need a digital cable? Also does any one know why the dvd player would cut in and out of sound? It only does it like 2 maybe 3 times during a movie and the sound is only out for about 2 sec. then comes back on, like it skips but it doesn't lose the picture? Any help is appreciated this is my first setup! Thanks!

I am getting a PS3 and I am going to purchase a HD TV. I am only buying the tv for the PS3 and want to keep my regular cable. Will I be able to watch regular cable on a HD TV or do I need to switch to something. I am going to get a 26" tv or less, if that helps. Thanks

How do I format my microSD card for my samsung sync? I bought the product new from eBay and I got the 1GB memory card and the TransFlash adapter. My computer does not have a port for the adapter in order for me to format it? Do I have to install the software for the phone?
