I had already asked this question, but I decided I wanted to get a better brand so here are two tvs I am thinking about and wondering if they are good choices for my PS3. This is the most money I want to spend and this is the biggest tv I can get, because I do not have a lot of room. Thanks.

Fine choice, man. Listen to the first answerer - he's totally right. I would go with Samsung - when you buy Sony - you pay an extra money for just the name.

Those two are fine. Anything made by Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, or Sharp are fine selections. Have fun...

Hey... you wouldn't be interested in buying me the Sony one, would you?

EDIT: Response to SVAL's comments: 720p is better than 1080i (not 1080p). Do your research about resolutions and you will find out that 720(p) is better than 1080(i). A lot of people don't know that unfortunately, they think higher number, better stuff. But you have to pay attention to the letter after the number. The PS3 actually displays at full 1080(p). Just don't forget your HDMI cables.

480i<480p<1080i<720p<1080p

They both look good, but if both are options for you, I'd say go with the Sony 26'' Bravia. The reason is that if you look under the "Connection Options," the Sony one supports 1080i, which is the most the PS3 does too, while the Samsung only goes as high as 720p. There probably isn't much difference, but as new games for the PS3 are made, they'll most likely be intended to play at 1080i, so they'll look better on the Sony one. The Blue-Ray DVD's will probably look somewhat better on it too. But if that doesn't really matter to you (like me, because I can't see the difference), then go with the cheaper, yet still good, Samsung.
